Description

Thanks to generous partnerships with Scarlett Family Foundation, and the City of Gallatin, Urban Leadership Experience is a free cohort-based, selective program for students who have completed grades 6 - 11. This fun and interactive leadership program introduces students to the components of being a strong, effective leader in their community and amongst peers while exploring local resources and opportunities. Participants engage in team building activities, field trips in and around Gallatin and Nashville, career assessment and planning, secondary education opportunities, civic leadership and local government, time and money management, and volunteerism. Breakfast and Lunch are provided daily. Following the one week July intensive, students gather monthly to continue the program through philanthropic and social activities.
